You are a product-oriented full-stack engineer with strong technical fundamentals and exceptional product taste — you enjoy owning user-facing features end-to-end, from idea to production, while deeply understanding the business and marketplace dynamics behind what you're building. You thrive in an environment that requires good judgment and comfort operating in ambiguity, and you have a proven ability to ship high-quality experiences quickly without over-engineering. Your experience includes working on core marketplace surfaces that impact how users discover and interact with products.

You have a solid foundation in both frontend and backend technologies, allowing you to contribute effectively across the stack. Your familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React and backend technologies such as Node.js enables you to create seamless user experiences. You understand the importance of collaboration and communication within a team, and you are eager to work alongside researchers, operators, and AI companies at the forefront of shaping innovative systems.

Desirable

Experience with AI technologies or working in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and a strong understanding of user experience design principles will help you excel in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of user-facing features, ensuring they are developed with a focus on quality and user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable web applications, optimizing performance, and ensuring the reliability of the systems you build.

You will work on both infrastructure and research-adjacent projects, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that enhance the user experience. You will be expected to engage in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and participate in team discussions to drive product improvements. Your ability to balance technical excellence with a keen understanding of business needs will be crucial to your success.
