You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science and at least 3 years of experience in software engineering. You are fluent in React, Next.js, Python, or Go, and have experience designing schemas for SQL and NoSQL databases. Your attention to detail and eagerness to learn make you a valuable team member, especially in a fast-paced environment. You are willing to align your working hours with the Pacific Time timezone, ensuring effective collaboration with your team.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer at Mercor, you will play a crucial role in refining and scaling our AI-powered hiring platform. Your responsibilities will include improving the AI interview experience and processing millions in payouts each week. You will also be involved in building a people search over billions of individuals and post-training LLMs, contributing to the development of the best recruiting engine in the world. You will collaborate closely with researchers, operators, and AI companies, ensuring that your work directly impacts how leading AI labs train and test their models.
