Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in hardware systems engineering, with experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams including hardware/software co-design, networking, and production engineering. You understand the complexities involved in the new product introduction (NPI) phase and are adept at taking a systems-based approach to problem-solving. Your ability to communicate effectively with hardware designers and data center operations teams is crucial for success in this role.

You thrive in environments where you can engage with various stakeholders, from component vendors to capacity engineering teams. Your experience in managing the ramp-up to production and addressing deployment challenges makes you a valuable asset to the team. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for enabling new systems that enhance operational efficiency in data centers.

What you'll do

As a Hardware Systems Engineer, you will work closely with hardware/software co-design teams to develop new systems for deployment in Meta's production data centers. Your role will involve collaborating with hardware designers and networking teams to ensure that the systems meet performance and scalability requirements. You will also engage with production engineering and services teams to facilitate a smooth transition from development to production.

You will be responsible for identifying and solving scaling challenges that arise during the NPI phase. This will require a deep understanding of the hardware and software interactions within the systems you are developing. You will play a key role in ensuring that the systems are robust and ready for deployment in a high-demand environment.

What we offer
