Who you are
You have extensive experience in audio technology and a proven track record of managing teams — your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation among researchers and engineers. You understand the importance of perceptual audio evaluation and its impact on user experience, and you are passionate about delivering high-quality audio solutions. You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with data-driven development processes, combining objective measurements with perceptual insights to guide product decisions. Your ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders is a key strength.
What you'll do
As the Perceptual Audio Evaluation Manager, you will lead a team of domain experts within the Wearables Audio Technology Team (WATT) — your primary focus will be on developing and implementing audio quality standards for Meta's Reality Labs products. You will collaborate closely with audio labs, user experience researchers, algorithm developers, and product managers to ensure that audio features meet the highest quality benchmarks. Your role will involve guiding the team in conducting perceptual audio evaluations, analyzing results, and making informed trade-offs that enhance customer experience. You will also be responsible for mentoring team members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
