Who you are

You have a strong background in machine learning and software development, with experience in developing AI compiler frameworks and optimizing performance for specialized hardware architectures. Your expertise in PyTorch and deep learning allows you to analyze and efficiently lower deep learning models on hardware platforms. You are familiar with software development best practices and have a keen interest in driving next-generation hardware-software co-design for AI applications.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with AI researchers and hardware design teams to develop compiler optimizations that enhance performance. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex challenges in machine learning workloads, and you are passionate about contributing to the advancement of AI technologies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be a key member of the MTIA Software team, contributing to the development of a comprehensive AI compiler strategy that supports new deep learning and machine learning model architectures. You will work on core areas such as PyTorch framework components, AI compiler and runtime, and high-performance kernels. Your work will directly impact the performance and deployment velocity of AI training and inference platforms at Meta.

You will collaborate with AI researchers to analyze deep learning models and implement optimizations that enhance their efficiency on MTIA hardware. Additionally, you will partner with hardware design teams to develop compiler optimizations that ensure high performance across various hardware architectures. Your contributions will help shape the future of AI technologies and improve the capabilities of machine learning workloads.
