Your expertise includes a broad understanding of mechanical systems and equipment functions, enabling you to effectively maintain and troubleshoot complex systems. You are skilled in procedure-based mechanical maintenance and have a proven track record of overseeing projects and training team members.
You possess a deep knowledge of diverse technologies such as chiller systems, evaporative cooling, and fire suppression systems. Your familiarity with building automation systems and electrical distribution enhances your ability to contribute to the overall efficiency of data center operations. You are a proactive problem solver who thrives in a technical operations role, ensuring that all mechanical systems function optimally.
What you'll do
As a Mechanical Subject Matter Expert at Meta, you will be an integral part of the Data Center Facility Operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the mechanical system technical operations expert, ensuring that all mechanical systems are maintained and operated effectively. You will conduct troubleshooting and repairs on various mechanical systems, including chiller systems and emergency diesel generators, to ensure uninterrupted operations.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance procedures, training team members on best practices, and overseeing projects related to mechanical systems. Your role will require collaboration with other technical teams to ensure that all systems are integrated and functioning as intended. You will play a key role in enhancing the operational efficiency of the data center, contributing to Meta's mission of providing reliable services to its customers.
