Who you are
You have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in designing and testing prototype electrical systems for consumer products. You thrive in collaborative environments and can effectively work with interdisciplinary teams, including mechanical, optical, firmware, and software experts. Your ability to take broad definitions and implement them into detailed electrical schematics and layouts is a key strength. You are familiar with high-speed digital circuit boards and have experience troubleshooting at both the board and system levels. Your knowledge of consumer product development processes allows you to transition designs into high-volume production successfully.
You are passionate about emerging technologies, particularly in the augmented and mixed reality space. You enjoy exploring new concepts through fast iterative prototyping and are eager to learn from industry leaders. Your experience supports board-level electrical engineers, and you are comfortable working on projects that inform the roadmap for Reality Labs. You understand the importance of user experience and are committed to building tools that help people feel connected.
