Who you are

You have hands-on experience with autonomous drones and a strong understanding of perception and navigation technologies such as SLAM and VIO. Your expertise extends to integrating inspection workflows and data pipelines for processing imagery and telemetry, ensuring efficient operations in data centers.

You are skilled in solution architecture and have a proven track record in system integration, verification, and validation. Your ability to gather requirements and develop concepts of operation (ConOps) is complemented by your experience in field pilots and product release processes, including site acceptance testing.

Collaboration is key for you; you thrive in environments where you work closely with software, hardware, and facility operations partners. Your troubleshooting skills across hardware and software enable you to address challenges effectively and ensure seamless operations.

You have a solid foundation in robotics technologies, including sensing, planning, navigation, and data processing. Your experience with drone operations and inspection automation positions you as a valuable asset to the team.

Desirable

Experience with enterprise data integration and flight testing is a plus. Familiarity with automated inspections and analytics will further enhance your contributions to the Infra Robotics team.

What you'll do

As a Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating autonomous drone platforms into Meta’s facility operations. This includes developing and implementing inspection workflows that leverage autonomous flight and sensor data capture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the integration of these technologies meets operational requirements.

Your role will involve solution architecture, where you will design systems that facilitate efficient data collection and processing. You will gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable plans that drive the project forward.

You will lead verification and validation efforts, ensuring that the systems you develop meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Your work will include conducting field pilots to test the systems in real-world scenarios, followed by product release activities that encompass site acceptance testing.

Post-release support will also be part of your responsibilities, where you will monitor the performance of the integrated systems and make necessary adjustments based on operational feedback. Your ability to troubleshoot issues across hardware and software will be crucial in maintaining system integrity.
