What you'll do

As a Network Engineer in the Operations & Support team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Meta's extensive network infrastructure — this includes overseeing the performance of network services across data centers, backbone, subsea, and edge locations. You will collaborate with a team of technicians to ensure that network issues are resolved promptly and efficiently, contributing to the overall reliability of the Facebook platform and its associated services.

You will play a key role in implementing targeted reliability initiatives aimed at improving network performance and reducing downtime — your insights will help shape the strategies used to maintain and enhance the network's efficiency. Additionally, you will work on evolving digital systems that support network operations, focusing on automation to streamline processes and reduce manual workloads.
