What you'll do

As a Research Scientist Intern at Meta, you will join the PyTorch Distributed Team, where your primary focus will be on making PyTorch faster and easier to use. You will work on composing multiple distributed training features to support the growing complexity of machine learning models. Your role will involve jointly optimizing computation and communication to maximize hardware utilization, which is crucial for the performance of machine learning applications.

You will collaborate with experienced researchers and engineers, contributing to the development of state-of-the-art machine learning frameworks that are utilized across Meta and the broader industry. Your internship will last between twelve to twenty-four weeks, providing you with ample opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
