Who you are
You are pursuing a PhD in a relevant field and have a strong background in Performance Modeling and Performance Simulation Methodologies. Your knowledge of Computer Architecture allows you to understand the intricacies of silicon design and its impact on performance.
You have experience with computer vision and machine learning, which are crucial for developing AI-first devices. Your ability to analyze and improve performance modeling collateral will be key in guiding the architecture of AR/MR silicon.
You are passionate about Mixed Reality (MR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies and understand the compute performance and power efficiency requirements that drive innovation in this space. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to cutting-edge projects.
Desirable
Experience with silicon design or custom SoCs is a plus. Familiarity with graphics, displays, and sensors will enhance your contributions to the Reality Labs Silicon team.
What you'll do
As a Research Scientist Intern, you will work closely with the Reality Labs Silicon team to enhance performance modeling for custom silicon used in AR/MR devices.
