You have a keen interest in generative AI and its applications, particularly in creating realistic representations of human shapes and avatars.

Your background includes hands-on experience with generative modeling techniques, and you are familiar with neural representations and the latest advancements in 3D graphics. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to innovative projects that push the boundaries of AR and VR technologies.

Desirable

Experience with diffusion models, transformers, or large language models is a plus, as is familiarity with evaluation and benchmarking of generative models. You are comfortable working in a research setting and are excited about the potential of integrating 3D generative models into AR/VR pipelines.

What you'll do

As a Research Scientist Intern at Meta, you will join the Reality Labs Research team in Zurich, where you will contribute to groundbreaking research in 3D generative AI. Your primary focus will be on developing and evaluating generative models for digital humans, exploring both traditional mesh-based and gsplat representations. You will collaborate with a world-class team of researchers and engineers to create technologies that enable breakthrough AR glasses and VR headsets.

You will engage in research topics that include the application of advanced generative techniques to model human shapes and avatars, and you will be responsible for evaluating and benchmarking these models to ensure their effectiveness. Your work will directly contribute to the integration of these models into AR/VR applications, enhancing user experiences and pushing the limits of what is possible in digital human representation.
