What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the Kernel team, you will create custom kernel changes to meet Meta's internal requirements and merge upstream changes into the Meta Linux Kernel. You will engage with the Linux community to develop new features and fix bugs, ensuring that Meta's infrastructure remains robust and efficient. Your role will involve investigating performance issues and failures, as well as building and testing new kernel RPMs periodically.

You will also create tooling to assist with kernel development, streamlining processes and improving productivity within the team. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of Meta's network infrastructure, allowing you to influence both internal projects and the broader open-source community.
