Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or DevOps, with a strong background in managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring system reliability. You are proficient in AWS and have hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Your expertise in Linux systems allows you to troubleshoot and optimize performance effectively.
You possess a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and are skilled in implementing automation to streamline operations. Your experience with monitoring and alerting tools enables you to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact users. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with development teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the Metabase Cloud product, ensuring it operates smoothly and efficiently for thousands of users. You will design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions that support the growth of the product while maintaining high availability and performance. Your role will involve automating deployment processes and managing CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid development cycles.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational challenges and implement solutions that enhance system reliability. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting incident response and post-mortem analyses to improve system resilience.
