Overview

Microsoft is hiring a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician to manage inventory and asset operations. You'll coordinate deliveries and security for third-party vendors while gaining expertise in inventory management. This position is entry-level and based in Querétaro.

Who you are

You are an entry-level professional eager to start your career in data center operations. You have a keen interest in inventory management principles and are ready to learn about warranty processes and data-bearing device destruction. You are detail-oriented and capable of coordinating tasks efficiently, ensuring that all deliveries are documented accurately.

What you'll do

As a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician, you will perform cycle audits and manage incoming and outgoing deliveries. You will coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors, ensuring that all operations comply with security protocols. Your role will involve documenting all inbound and outbound deliveries meticulously, contributing to the overall efficiency of the data center operations.

You will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of inventory management and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. Your contributions will support the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft’s online services, including Azure, Office 365, and more. You will be part of a team that is focused on environmental sustainability and optimization in data center design and operations.
