What you'll do
In this role, you will develop a forward-looking perspective on competitor ecosystems, analyzing trends across devices, silicon, OS, services, and developer landscapes. You will build market scenarios and competitive theses that inform strategic implications for Windows and Microsoft's device ecosystem. Your insights will help assess long-term risks to Windows share across various sectors, including enterprise, SMB, EDU, and consumer markets.
You will establish a multi-source signal system to gather insights from field data, partners, telemetry, and competitive reports. By identifying structural shifts in competitor adoption early, you will synthesize these indicators into clear frameworks that guide strategic choices.
