What you'll do

As the Principal Software Engineering Manager, you will lead the team responsible for developing and scaling Azure Database for PostgreSQL, a fully managed database service. You will own the core database engine capabilities and oversee the development of PostgreSQL extensions, ensuring they meet the needs of a diverse range of applications.

You will collaborate closely with product management and other engineering teams to define the roadmap for database features and enhancements. Your role will involve driving technical discussions, making architectural decisions, and ensuring that your team adheres to best practices in software development and database management.

You will also be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within your team, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of new technologies that can enhance the performance and reliability of Azure Database services.
