You have extensive experience in data engineering and cloud technologies, particularly with Microsoft Azure. Your background includes working on high-scale systems and you have a strong understanding of data integration and analytics. You are comfortable leading projects and collaborating with feature teams to drive innovation in data solutions.

You possess a deep knowledge of databases and big data analytics, having worked with products like Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Factory. Your technical expertise allows you to act as an architect for various components of the product, ensuring high performance and reliability.

What you'll do

As a Principal Engineer, you will lead the development of the Microsoft Fabric platform, focusing on the compute infrastructure that supports the entire data estate. You will collaborate closely with feature teams to design and implement solutions that enhance the platform's capabilities. Your role will involve technical leadership, guiding the team in best practices for building resilient and scalable systems.

You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team. Your contributions will directly impact the way data is managed and utilized across various applications, driving the mission of building a data platform for the age of AI.
