Who you are
You have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on cloud services, particularly in Azure. Your experience includes leading teams and managing complex projects that involve end-to-end ownership of software lifecycle processes. You are skilled in integrating artificial intelligence into engineering practices to enhance security and operational efficiency.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your leadership style fosters a culture of accountability and innovation, encouraging your team to take ownership of their work and strive for excellence.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the Azure Compute team in the development and modernization of servicing platforms. You will be responsible for the architecture and evolution of AI-powered validation and telemetry systems, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of security and reliability. Your work will involve collaborating with various teams across Azure to define platform strategies and success metrics.
You will drive the implementation of automation and observability practices to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the Azure fleet. Your leadership will be crucial in establishing standards for secure servicing and compliance, as well as in reducing manual efforts through innovative solutions.
You will represent the organization in senior technical and business reviews, clearly articulating trade-offs, risks, and priorities. Your ability to build and lead multi-team engineering organizations will be key to delivering measurable improvements in security, productivity, and business agility.
