You have a solid foundation in software engineering principles and experience in building scalable data services. Your experience with C# and .NET Core allows you to contribute effectively to the development of large-scale services. You are familiar with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and have a good understanding of SQL for data management.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy participating in design discussions, contributing to technical approaches, and refining solutions under the guidance of senior engineers. Your proactive nature drives you to identify opportunities for improving data quality and operational excellence, ensuring that the systems you work on are not only functional but also efficient and maintainable.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining services that support product analytics and telemetry for Xbox. You will participate in design discussions and contribute to the architecture of the next version of the commerce platform, enhancing the experience for both publishers and gamers. Your role will involve writing design documents and collaborating with your team to ensure that the solutions you develop meet the needs of millions of Xbox users.
You will also develop and maintain automated tests to ensure the reliability of the services you build. Monitoring live services will be part of your responsibilities, and you will participate in on-call rotations to address any issues that arise.
