Who you are
You have over 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in applying AI techniques to enhance security measures. Your expertise includes investigating cyber threats and understanding attacker methodologies, tools, and infrastructure. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey complex ideas clearly.
Your experience in large-scale computing and anomaly detection equips you with the ability to analyze and correlate large data sets, uncovering novel attack techniques. You are passionate about leveraging AI to improve service delivery outcomes and are eager to innovate new approaches in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
What you'll do
As a Senior Applied AI Security Researcher, you will work closely with researchers and partners across Microsoft to apply AI techniques that enhance Microsoft Defender Experts services. Your responsibilities will include designing and leading experiments that utilize AI to transform managed services, as well as exploring and correlating large data sets to identify complex security issues that impact customers.
You will partner with engineering teams and Defender Experts analysts to improve service delivery outcomes through advanced AI techniques. Your role will involve investigating attacks in customer environments and innovating new methods for detecting and tracking threats in a cloud-focused landscape. You will be at the forefront of developing solutions that protect customers from evolving cyber threats.
