You are a creative individual eager to step into the world of graphic design and visual communications. As a Graphic Design Intern, you have a foundational understanding of design principles and are excited to learn and grow in a professional environment. You thrive in collaborative settings, working alongside designers, marketers, and writers to create compelling visual content that aligns with brand messaging. Your familiarity with design tools such as Adobe and your willingness to learn new software will help you succeed in this role.
Desirable
Experience with digital marketing platforms like HubSpot and Marketo is a plus, as is any prior exposure to web design or UI/UX principles. You are open to feedback and eager to refine your skills through hands-on projects. A portfolio showcasing your design work, even if it's from academic projects, will help demonstrate your capabilities and creativity.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be involved in various projects from concept to execution, creating digital and print graphics that include infographics, social media visuals, presentations, and event collateral. You will assist in visualizing brand messaging across campaigns, helping to tell compelling stories through design. Your collaboration with the marketing team will ensure that all visual content is engaging and consistent with Minitab's brand standards.
You will also support web projects by collaborating on wireframes and prototypes, contributing to the overall user experience. Editing and building marketing emails in platforms like HubSpot and Marketo will be part of your responsibilities, as well as assisting with web content updates via Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This internship is designed to help you build a portfolio-ready body of work while learning professional creative workflows.
