Who you are

You have a bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience. You are an analytical thinker with strong technical expertise, capable of leveraging data to drive informed decision-making and simplify end-user engagement. Your proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases enable you to create shared data assets that serve as the company's source-of-truth for critical business metrics. You possess a solid understanding of data modeling and ETL processes, which allows you to design and implement highly performant data post-processing pipelines. You are comfortable collaborating with analytics stakeholders to curate analysis-ready datasets and augment the generation of actionable insights. You also have experience partnering with data engineering teams to expose governed datasets to the rest of the organization, ensuring that data integrity is maintained across all analytics solutions.

What you'll do

As a Senior Analytics Engineer I at MongoDB, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust analytics solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring data integrity and enabling data-driven insights across all of MongoDB. Your role will involve creating and managing documentation, conducting knowledge-sharing sessions to proliferate tribal knowledge and best practices, and maintaining consistent planning and tracking of work in JIRA tickets. You will make impactful contributions to our analytics infrastructure, systems, and tools, ensuring that they meet the needs of the organization. You will partner with analytics stakeholders to curate analysis-ready datasets and work closely with data engineering to expose governed datasets to the rest of the organization. Your contributions will help drive informed decision-making and simplify end-user engagement across our most critical data sets.
