Job Description
Who you are
You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. You have a keen interest in building technical solutions that span SaaS applications, particularly CRM platforms, and business systems integration — whether through coursework, projects, or personal exploration. You possess a problem-solving mindset and a desire to contribute to impactful projects that enhance data-driven decision-making.
You are eager to collaborate with engineers, admins, and business stakeholders to build scalable solutions and automate workflows. You understand the importance of data quality and are motivated to streamline processes that support MongoDB’s growth. Your academic background has equipped you with foundational knowledge in software development, and you are excited to apply this in a real-world setting.
Desirable
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is a plus, as is familiarity with automation tools and integration processes. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that will enhance your skills and contribute to the team’s success.
What you'll do
As a GTM Engineering Intern, you will join the CRM Technologies Engineering team, where you will manage and scale MongoDB’s core Salesforce platform and its integrations with internal and external systems. You will work closely with various departments, including Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing, to streamline processes and improve data quality. Your role will involve gathering requirements, designing solutions, and participating in the implementation, testing, and deployment phases of CRM development.
You will have the opportunity to work with one of the most highly customized Salesforce environments in the industry, gaining hands-on experience with modern Apex frameworks and automation. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, contributing to projects that have a tangible impact on how MongoDB operates globally. This internship will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the full lifecycle of CRM development, from initial concept to final deployment.
What we offer
MongoDB offers a supportive and inclusive work environment where you can grow your skills and make meaningful contributions. You will receive mentorship from experienced professionals and have the chance to work on projects that directly influence the company’s go-to-market strategies. Additionally, you will gain insights into the workings of a leading technology company and the opportunity to network with industry experts.
The internship is based in our Palo Alto office, providing a collaborative atmosphere where you can engage with your peers and learn from their experiences. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
The base salary range for this role in the U.S. is $86,528—$123,552 USD, reflecting our commitment to competitive compensation for our interns.
