Security Engineer • Entry-Level

Who you are

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Cyber Security, Network Security, Ethical Hacking, Information Technology/Systems, or Computer Science with a Cybersecurity focus. You have a foundational understanding of Python and Identity & Access Management technologies such as OAuth and SAML, along with experience working with APIs. You possess the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise. You have at least one quarter or semester remaining in your university studies after the internship concludes, with a graduation date between Fall 2026 and Spring 2028.

Desirable

Experience or coursework in cloud security practices would be a plus, as well as familiarity with security protocols and frameworks. A proactive attitude towards learning and a keen interest in security engineering will help you thrive in this role.

What you'll do

As a Security Intern at MongoDB, you will join the Enterprise Security team, where you will assist in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions at scale. You will work closely with various teams to enhance the overall cloud security posture of the organization.
