Who you are
You have a strong background in data engineering and machine learning principles, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Your expertise in statistical analysis allows you to derive insights from complex datasets, and you are comfortable working with large-scale data systems. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with ML engineers and software developers to drive innovation in data analysis metrics and KPIs for autonomous vehicle performance. You are motivated by the mission of enhancing safety and performance in autonomous driving technologies.
Desirable
Experience with AWS and Kubernetes orchestration frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with developing metrics for machine learning models. You have a keen interest in the latest advancements in AI and data analysis, and you are eager to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies in the autonomous vehicle space.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing new data analysis metrics and KPIs that validate the performance of autonomous vehicles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the data analysis framework meets the needs of the Ground Truth Regression team. Your work will involve driving innovation by researching and developing new large-scale data analysis systems that can handle the complexities of autonomous vehicle data.
You will own the large-scale orchestration for data analysis, ensuring that the systems you develop are robust and scalable. Your contributions will play a critical role in monitoring model errors, anomalies, and rare driving scenarios, providing essential insights that impact the behavior of autonomous vehicles. You will also be involved in root cause analysis and safety considerations, ensuring that all changes to perception are validated effectively.
