What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the security of the Firefox add-ons ecosystem. You will work closely with the review and operations team to develop and implement security protocols that protect users and developers alike. Your work will involve analyzing existing systems for vulnerabilities and proposing improvements to ensure a secure environment for add-ons. You will also collaborate with developers to create tools that facilitate secure extension management and review processes.

You will be involved in the design and implementation of automated moderation systems that help maintain the integrity of the add-ons ecosystem. This includes developing security features that prevent malicious extensions from being published and ensuring that user data is protected. You will also participate in incident response activities, helping to address any security breaches or vulnerabilities that may arise.
