Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in building secure and scalable identity management systems. Your expertise includes designing and implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, and you are familiar with SSO, 2FA, and user provisioning. You understand the importance of security best practices and have a strong grasp of roles and permissions in software applications.
You are proficient in programming languages such as Java and C#, and you have experience working with REST APIs. Your background includes working with identity protocols like OAuth, SAML, and SCIM, which enables you to create seamless user experiences while maintaining security. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with product, design, and infrastructure teams to deliver intuitive solutions.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer on the IAM team, you will design and implement core identity capabilities that define how users securely access and manage Mural's products. You will build and evolve the foundational permission model that powers roles and access control across the platform. Your contributions will enable other product teams to move faster by providing reliable identity primitives they can build on.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence platform and security best practices, ensuring that the identity management solutions you develop are both secure and user-friendly. You will also contribute to complex technical initiatives, helping to shape the future of Mural's identity and access management capabilities.
