You have 3-7 years of experience in women's western and graphic design, ideally with a background from NIFT or Pearl Academy. Your expertise lies in understanding seasonal trends, colors, prints, and fabrics, allowing you to create designs that resonate with the latest fashion movements. You are skilled in sketching and rendering, bringing concepts to life with detailed illustrations that reflect your vision for the brand.

Your role involves establishing design direction, ensuring that the prints and silhouettes align with current trends. You are adept at managing line sheets and developing accurate techpacks that communicate design and construction details effectively. Collaboration is key for you; you work closely with buying and sourcing teams to ensure a seamless design development process.

Your ability to lead fitting sessions and oversee design approvals demonstrates your commitment to quality and attention to detail. What you'll do

As the Manager - Design Women's Wear at Myntra, you will investigate and analyze seasonal trends across all knit and woven categories, contributing to the development of seasonal concepts and themes. You will create detailed sketches based on these concepts, applying appropriate color schemes and prints to ensure that the designs are both appealing and market-ready.

You will establish the print and silhouette direction for the brand, maintaining line sheets to support seasonal range planning and design strategy. Your role will also involve developing highly accurate techpacks that illustrate design and construction details clearly, facilitating effective communication with production teams.

Collaboration is essential in this role; you will work closely with buying and sourcing teams to ensure smooth design development and execution. Leading fitting sessions and refining designs in collaboration with the tech team will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that the final products meet the highest standards.

You will oversee fabric, print, and surface design follow-ups and approvals, ensuring that all elements align with the brand's vision. Your organizational skills will be crucial in managing the calendar for design tasks, ensuring timely execution in line with seasonal deadlines. You will also provide well-researched ideas and insights to enhance catalog content and contribute to brand marketing initiatives.
