Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering, with a strong focus on Data Loss Prevention and Data Security Posture Management. Your expertise allows you to effectively safeguard sensitive data in cloud environments, ensuring compliance and security across various platforms. You are skilled in deploying and managing DLP/DSPM solutions, gaining visibility into data assets, and identifying security risks. Your background includes designing and implementing cloud-native security solutions that incorporate advanced threat detection and automated controls.
You are proactive in your approach to cybersecurity, regularly researching new attack vectors and staying updated on the latest security trends. You have experience conducting Threat Modeling Sessions for cloud and infrastructure services, assessing and classifying potential threats to ensure robust data protection. Your collaborative nature enables you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Platform and Data teams, to drive the implementation of security strategies.

Desirable
Experience with compliance frameworks and regulations related to data security is a plus. What you'll do
In this role, you will develop and drive the implementation of the Cloud Data Security strategy in alignment with the Product Manager, Tech Lead, and Engineering Manager. You will deploy, configure, and manage DLP/DSPM solutions to gain visibility into data assets, identify security risks, and enforce consistent security policies across cloud environments. Your responsibilities will include implementing data classification schemes and ensuring proper discovery and tagging of sensitive data within cloud environments.
You will design, deploy, and maintain state-of-the-art cloud-native security solutions, incorporating advanced threat detection, automated controls, alerting, and remediation mechanisms to ensure continuous compliance and protection across our cloud infrastructure. Regularly performing proactive research to detect new attack vectors will be part of your routine, as will conducting Threat Modeling Sessions for Cloud, AI, and Infrastructure services.
You will collaborate closely with the Infrastructure Security team to detect and remediate IT and cloud infrastructure security threats. Your role will empower N26 tech teams to thrive by providing efficient and effective security services. You will also contribute to the overall mission of safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring robust data protection across the organization.
