Your experience with security automation is robust, allowing you to design solutions that protect sensitive data and mitigate risks effectively.

You thrive in autonomous environments and enjoy tackling high-stakes technical challenges — your ability to lead architectural decisions and transform complex security requirements into elegant software solutions sets you apart. You are familiar with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and have experience deploying applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

Your understanding of data governance and security best practices is comprehensive — you know how to implement secure-by-design features and ensure that applications are resilient against threats. You are also comfortable working with databases, including SQL, and have experience building REST APIs that facilitate secure data interactions.

You are passionate about leveraging AI technologies, particularly in the context of Generative AI and LLM initiatives — you understand the risks associated with AI and are eager to engineer solutions that address these challenges. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that security considerations are integrated throughout the development lifecycle.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the architectural design and implementation of full-stack features, ensuring that security is embedded in every aspect of the development process. You will build the N26 Security Platform, developing tools and platforms that empower other security teams to operate efficiently and effectively.

You will collaborate closely with various specialized teams across the organization, providing them with the automation engines they need to enhance their security posture. Your work will enable engineering teams to ship secure code faster than ever, directly impacting the safety of millions of users.

You will also be responsible for designing and owning end-to-end solutions, from robust backend services to intuitive internal dashboards — your ability to create user-friendly interfaces will help facilitate the adoption of security tools across the company. As part of your role, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and fostering a culture of security awareness within the team.
