Who you are
You are a seasoned Product Manager with over 5 years of experience in the financial technology sector, particularly in payments. Your technical mindset allows you to navigate complex payment systems and understand the intricacies of international payment rails. You have a proven track record of managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to execution, ensuring that products meet both user needs and regulatory requirements. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering, design, and compliance teams to deliver high-impact features. Your analytical skills enable you to leverage business data and customer insights to drive product decisions and optimize payment journeys. You are committed to creating secure, scalable, and compliant payment solutions that enhance the customer experience.
Desirable
Experience with payment schemes such as SEPA, SWIFT, and alternative payment methods (APMs) is a plus. Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the financial sector will help you navigate the complexities of the role. A background in user research and A/B testing will enhance your ability to make data-driven decisions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of the product roadmap for scheme integrations and payment platform components. You will define and drive the strategy that powers the movement of money for N26 customers across Europe. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with engineering and design teams to build intuitive payment journeys that comply with regulatory standards. You will lead the implementation of new payment rails and features, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. You will act as the main point of contact for cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Treasury, Operations, and Finance, to ensure that all aspects of the product are aligned with regulatory requirements. Your role will involve continuous improvement of existing payment systems, driving stability and optimization to support N26's global expansion.
