Who you are
You have a strong background in embedded systems, with at least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing firmware for hardware platforms. Your expertise in C and C++ allows you to develop efficient and reliable low-level software that meets the demands of high-density, mission-critical environments. You are comfortable collaborating with hardware engineers to ensure seamless hardware-firmware integration and have a knack for debugging complex systems.
Your experience with Embedded Linux and OpenBMC firmware enhances your ability to maintain and enhance existing systems while introducing new features. You understand the importance of real-time monitoring and telemetry, and you have a proven track record of optimizing low-level drivers and protocols to improve system performance. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to innovative projects that push the boundaries of AI cloud infrastructure.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design and implement embedded firmware for server management, telemetry, and control systems. You will maintain and enhance our custom OpenBMC firmware, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our next-generation GPU and HPC platforms. Your responsibilities will include enabling real-time monitoring of power, thermal sensors, and hardware health, which are critical for maintaining system reliability.
You will work closely with hardware engineers to validate firmware for existing and future platforms, ensuring that all components work together seamlessly. Debugging and optimizing low-level drivers and protocols will be a key part of your role, as you strive to enhance system performance and reliability.
