You have a strong background in virtualization technologies, particularly with KVM and QEMU, and have spent several years optimizing performance in cloud environments. Your experience includes working with Linux systems, where you've developed a deep understanding of hardware virtualization and device emulation. You pay close attention to performance metrics and security, ensuring that systems are robust against untrusted code. You thrive in collaborative environments, often engaging with the open-source community to enhance virtualization stacks. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, allowing you to efficiently distribute resources between virtual machines and improve guest systems.

Desirable

Experience with cloud infrastructure and a passion for AI and machine learning technologies would be a plus. Familiarity with I/O optimization techniques and resource management in virtualized environments is highly desirable. What you'll do

As a Senior Hypervisor Engineer at Nebius AI, you will play a crucial role in the development of our hyperscaler platform. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance the KVM hypervisor and QEMU device emulator, focusing on optimizing I/O for emulated disk and network devices. You will work closely with other platform services to ensure seamless integration and efficient resource distribution among virtual machines.
