Who you are
You have a strong background in internal controls and compliance, with experience in designing and maintaining control frameworks that adhere to SOX requirements. Your expertise in risk governance allows you to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure operational efficiencies and adherence to company policies. You possess excellent communication and engagement skills, enabling you to guide business managers in executing and documenting control execution. Your analytical mindset helps you identify potential financial reporting misstatements and implement corrective actions.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to enhance compliance efforts. Your ability to conduct process walkthroughs and control testing is complemented by your experience in supporting operational and annual SOX audits. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing controls that mitigate them.
What you'll do
As the Internal Control Manager at Nebius AI, you will take a leading role in supporting and maintaining an effective internal control framework for our international operations. You will design and maintain process risk control matrices, ensuring that all controls are documented and executed properly. Your responsibilities will include guiding business managers through the control execution process and conducting process walkthroughs to assess the effectiveness of existing controls. You will also support control testing and assist during operational and annual SOX audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the organization to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices in risk governance. Your role will involve analyzing financial reporting processes to reduce misstatements and enhance overall operational efficiency. You will contribute to the development of training materials and resources to educate employees on internal controls and compliance requirements, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency within the organization.
