Who you are

You have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in designing and executing tests to validate the quality of analytical solutions. Your expertise in Python, PySpark, and SQL allows you to effectively validate data and ensure high standards in data pipelines and ETL processes. You are familiar with cloud environments such as AWS and Azure, and you understand the importance of data quality in analytical models and machine learning applications.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with teams of Data Engineering, Data Science, and Architecture under agile methodologies. You are proactive in promoting best practices in quality assurance for analytics and Big Data, ensuring that all solutions meet the required standards.

Desirable

Experience with automated testing and performance testing is a plus, as is familiarity with tools like Databricks and Data Fabric. You are also knowledgeable about CI/CD processes and have experience supporting these in Azure DevOps.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and execute quality tests for data validation and analytical solutions. You will validate analytical models and machine learning algorithms through automated testing and data analysis, ensuring that all outputs meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for designing and operating validation pipelines in cloud environments, ensuring that data ingestion, transformation, and cleaning processes are efficient and reliable.

You will actively participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and practices within the team. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that data solutions are robust and scalable, and you will play a key role in implementing automated testing frameworks to enhance the quality of data solutions.
