You are proficient in Python and PySpark, and you possess a strong mathematical foundation that supports your work in data science.

Your expertise extends to big data technologies and database management, with advanced skills in SQL and NoSQL databases. You are familiar with MLOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that your models are not only effective but also scalable and maintainable. You have a knack for optimizing algorithms and ensuring data quality throughout the modeling process.

You are a natural leader, capable of mentoring junior team members and guiding them in best practices for data science. Your communication skills enable you to effectively translate complex technical concepts into business language, fostering collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are proactive and results-oriented, always looking for ways to improve processes and unlock technical or procedural blockers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and develop high-impact predictive and prescriptive models that inform strategic decisions for the bank. You will select key techniques and variables, focusing on what truly matters to avoid unnecessary processing. Your responsibilities will include coding robust algorithms using Python and PySpark, ensuring that they are optimized for scalability and repeatability.

You will lead the technical direction of the data science team, mentoring junior profiles and ensuring the quality of work produced. You will propose initiatives to overcome technical and procedural challenges, actively participating in analytical roadmaps and the monitoring and deployment of models in collaboration with the architecture team.

Your role will also involve continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies and methodologies in data science, ensuring that NEORIS remains at the forefront of digital acceleration. You will engage with cross-functional teams to align data science initiatives with broader business objectives, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
