You have a strong creative drive and a passion for producing high-quality effects for animated features. Your experience with software such as Houdini and Maya allows you to create hair, cloth, and fur simulation setups that meet the department's standards. You understand physics-based simulations for character-related effects and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that your work is both realistic and stylized as per project requirements.
You possess strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with team members and articulate technical information clearly. Your ability to incorporate feedback from supervisors and directors helps you refine and improve your work, contributing to the overall success of the team. What you'll do
As a CFX Artist at Netflix Animation Studios, you will create hair, cloth, and fur simulation setups, designing procedural creature simulation rigs in Houdini. You will collaborate closely with other departments to produce realistic and stylized character effects, ensuring that your work aligns with the creative vision of the projects. You will take part in internal training to enhance your CFX skills and contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality work.
Your role will involve incorporating feedback from supervisors and directors to develop and refine your work, as well as collaborating with grace, humility, and open-mindedness.
