Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in building and optimizing data pipelines that support analytics and business intelligence. Your expertise in Python and SQL allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively, ensuring data quality and integrity. You are familiar with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and understand how to leverage services like S3, Redshift, and Lambda to build scalable data solutions. Your experience with Apache Spark and Airflow enables you to design and implement robust data workflows that can handle both batch and real-time processing. You have a solid understanding of distributed systems and can troubleshoot complex data issues that arise in production environments.
You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that drive insights. You are comfortable communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and can translate business requirements into technical specifications. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you thrive in environments where you can innovate and improve existing processes. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering.
Desirable
Experience with data modeling and database design is a plus, as is familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra. Knowledge of machine learning concepts and tools can also be beneficial, as you may work alongside data scientists to support model development and deployment.
