What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Evals & Data team at Netflix, focusing on the development of benchmarks and evaluators that guide the progress of large language models — your leadership will be crucial in creating a centralized evaluation discipline that enhances the quality and reproducibility of training datasets. You will collaborate with AI/ML researchers to ensure that the data infrastructure meets the evolving needs of the organization.

You will be responsible for building and scaling a world-class team, providing mentorship and guidance to team members as they navigate complex challenges in model evaluation and data curation. Your role will involve setting clear goals and metrics for success, ensuring that the team consistently measures progress and drives innovation.

You will work closely with application teams to establish tools and standards that facilitate effective measurement of model performance — your efforts will contribute to the continuous improvement of Netflix's personalized content delivery. You will also engage in strategic discussions about the future of AI at Netflix, influencing the direction of projects and initiatives.
