Who you are
You have a strong background in machine learning and computer vision, with a focus on generative algorithms. Your experience includes designing, training, and evaluating algorithmic solutions that push the boundaries of the state of the art in computer vision. You are skilled in data processing and feature extraction, and you have hands-on experience with distributed model training using GPUs. You are also comfortable mentoring others and defining impactful research directions.
You possess excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in the multimedia domain. Your ability to collaborate with creative teams allows you to merge technology with storytelling effectively. What you'll do
In this role, you will research and prototype reusable algorithms for the full cycle of machine learning in the multimedia domain. This includes data processing, feature extraction, and deploying models into production. You will design, train, post-train, and fine-tune algorithmic solutions with applications across various domains, ensuring they meet the needs of content creators. You will also mentor junior researchers and contribute to defining the research agenda for the Studio Media Algorithms team.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate your algorithms into tools used throughout the content production lifecycle. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of the content creation process, ultimately enhancing the viewing experience for Netflix members worldwide. You will stay at the forefront of innovation, continuously pushing the boundaries of what is possible in multimedia content creation.
