Your expertise in C++ and OpenGL allows you to create high-quality visual outputs, and you have a strong understanding of rendering engines and shading systems. What you'll do
As a Software Engineer - Rendering at Netflix, you will work on all aspects of our proprietary rendering software, Glimpse. This includes developing the scene representation, rendering engine, and shading system to generate highly realistic images for our animated films. You will create and maintain tools that are integral to our lighting, shading, and compositing workflows, ensuring that our artists have the best resources at their disposal.
You will closely collaborate with technically minded artists to design and implement features that enhance production efficiency. Your role will involve rapid deployment of new tools and systems into production, requiring you to be adaptable and responsive to feedback. You will be part of a small, dynamic team where your contributions will directly impact the quality of our animated content.
