What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Ads Finance team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the ads billing and invoicing system that supports Netflix's advertising platform. You will collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to uphold high standards of quality.

You will also engage in performance tuning and optimization of the billing system to ensure it can handle the demands of a rapidly growing user base. Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues will be key aspects of your responsibilities, as will documenting your work to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

In addition to your technical contributions, you will play a vital role in mentoring junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and navigate challenges.
