You have a background in mechanical engineering or a related field, with experience in manufacturing processes and a strong understanding of mechanical assemblies. You are skilled in using CAD software like AutoCAD and SolidWorks to design and analyze components, ensuring they meet stringent quality standards. Your problem-solving abilities allow you to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues effectively, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with cross-functional teams.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your attention to detail ensures that all aspects of the manufacturing process are executed with precision, contributing to the overall success of the surgical procedures. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can enhance manufacturing efficiency.
What you'll do
As a Manufacturing Engineer at Neuralink, you will play a crucial role in scaling the production of consumables used in robotic surgeries. You will support the build-out of a new manufacturing site in Texas while maintaining production at existing locations. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting manufacturing issues, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, and designing fixtures that enhance production efficiency. You will collaborate closely with hardware designers, machinists, quality engineers, and the surgery team to ensure that parts are built correctly and delivered on time.
You will contribute to the development of technical solutions for complex manufacturing challenges, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of safety and reliability. Your hands-on approach will allow you to engage directly with the manufacturing process, providing insights that drive innovation and improve overall production quality. You will also be involved in training and mentoring team members, helping to advance their skills and knowledge in manufacturing practices.
