Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in full-stack development, where you've successfully designed and implemented end-to-end features across the technology stack. Your expertise in JavaScript, React, and Node.js allows you to create seamless user experiences while ensuring robust backend functionality. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions. You are comfortable with agile methodologies and have a strong understanding of best practices in software development, including testing and code reviews. You are passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems and are excited about the opportunity to innovate in the content-monetization space. You enjoy mentoring junior engineers and sharing your knowledge to foster a culture of learning within your team.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus, as is familiarity with AI technologies and recommendation systems. You have a keen interest in content creation and monetization, and you are eager to contribute to projects that have a meaningful impact on users. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies as the landscape evolves.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining features for Aigeon.ai, a platform that reimagines the newsletter and content-monetization space. You will work across the full stack, from frontend development using React to backend services with Node.js, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together. You will collaborate with product managers to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements, while also working closely with designers to create intuitive user interfaces. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to uphold high standards of quality. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and debugging issues, ensuring that the platform remains reliable and performant as it scales. As part of a high-growth team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall architecture and design of the system, making decisions that will shape the future of the product.

What we offer

At NewsBreak, we offer a competitive salary range of $175,000 to $221,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to attract top talent. You will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and collaboration, working in a supportive environment that encourages professional growth.
