Who you are
You have 5 to 7 years of software development experience, particularly in designing and implementing scalable software solutions. Your strong capabilities in your component level area of ownership allow you to analyze information, solve problems, and reach conclusions effectively. You are proficient in Core Java and have a solid understanding of Java algorithms and data structures, which you have applied in high-performance, highly available, and scalable systems.
Your experience with the Spring Framework and Spring Boot has equipped you with the skills to develop Microservices efficiently. You are familiar with third-party tools like Elasticsearch and Redis Cache, which you have used to enhance application performance. As a mentor, you enjoy guiding junior team members and conducting timely code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
You have a Bachelor or Master of Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field from a reputed institute. Your educational background, combined with your practical experience, makes you a valuable asset to any software development team.
What you'll do
In your role as a Senior Software Engineer at NICE, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that meet business needs. You will act as a point of escalation for low-level problems within NICE and some external interfaces, ensuring that issues are resolved efficiently. Your responsibilities will include delivering features for enterprise-grade software independently and collaborating with R&D groups, including Product Managers, Sales, Customer Support, and Services.
You will conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and mentor junior engineers, helping them grow in their roles. Your ability to interface with various teams will be crucial in driving projects forward and ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will also be expected to analyze system performance and suggest improvements to enhance the overall efficiency of the software solutions.
