NICE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Public Safety R&D engineering team in Pune. You'll design and implement software features using C# and .NET Core, ensuring high performance and scalability. This role requires over 10 years of experience in software development.
Job Description
Who you are
You have over 10 years of experience working in the software industry as a senior software engineer, demonstrating a strong background in software development. Your expertise includes developing applications in C# using Visual Studio, and you possess a solid understanding of Windows development tools. You are well-versed in object-oriented design (OOD) and object-oriented programming (OOP), and you have a comprehensive familiarity with software design patterns, knowing how to incorporate them effectively into your software designs. Your experience in resolving scalability and performance issues is a significant advantage, and familiarity with the Public Safety or Contact Center domain will further enhance your fit for this role. You have excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to influence others, especially in sensitive or complex situations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for designing software features according to agreed architecture and requirements. You will implement these software features based on the design specifications, ensuring that they meet the necessary standards. Planning and performing developer-level testing will be crucial to ensure that the software fits the design and requirements. You will also support customers by resolving product issues and interface with various R&D groups and support tiers to facilitate collaboration and problem-solving. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and performance of the software solutions provided by NICE.
