Overview

NICE is hiring a Software Engineer to develop state-of-the-art applications and server components for voice, video, and screen recording. You'll work with C# and C++ in multi-threaded environments. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of software development experience.

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, particularly in developing complex systems. Your background includes a degree in an engineering subject, and you possess strong written and oral communication skills. You are a rapid learner, self-motivated, and a good communicator and problem solver. You take pride in delivering high-quality work and are comfortable working in multi-threaded, multi-server environments.

You have deep expertise in C# and C++, and you are familiar with the full development lifecycle. Your experience includes working with Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET, WCF, and XML. You also have knowledge of network security and have worked with tools like Unity and Elasticsearch. Your ability to integrate various components and ensure seamless functionality is one of your key strengths.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of GUI, server, and interface components for our security customers worldwide. You will work on product development, which may involve projects that vary in size and complexity, from a few staff-months to over 20 staff-years. You will collaborate with a team of engineers, which can range from individual work to teams of 15 or more.

Your responsibilities will include developing state-of-the-art applications and data integrations, as well as server components for voice, video, and screen recording. You will also be involved in developer-level testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the applications you build. Your role will require you to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met and that the final product aligns with customer needs.
