Data Engineer

Who you are

You have a strong background in data engineering, particularly with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — you've designed and implemented data pipelines that support analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Your experience includes working with large datasets and ensuring data quality and integrity across systems. You are familiar with data modeling and ETL processes, and you understand the importance of data governance and security in cloud environments.

You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can troubleshoot data-related issues effectively — you have a knack for identifying bottlenecks in data workflows and optimizing processes for better performance. Your communication skills allow you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet those requirements.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and develop data pipelines using GCP technologies to support various business functions — you'll work closely with data analysts and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your responsibilities will include ensuring data is collected, processed, and stored efficiently, enabling timely access to insights that drive business decisions.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the performance of data systems, implementing best practices for data management, and ensuring compliance with data governance policies. As part of your role, you will participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering practices within the team.
