Job Description
Who you are
You are a qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and compliance. Your strong technical accounting knowledge allows you to handle complex financial statements and ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards. You possess excellent analytical skills and are proficient in MS Excel, which you use to prepare and review financial documents efficiently. Your communication and coordination skills enable you to work effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations in financial activities.
Desirable
Familiarity with FEMA compliance and foreign remittances is a plus, as is experience with accounting or ERP systems. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a growing organization that values innovation and entrepreneurship.
What you'll do
In this role, you will prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS / AS). You will ensure accurate accounting entries and reconciliations, handling month-end and year-end closing activities. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring compliance under the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and other applicable laws. You will prepare and review GST returns, TDS returns, and income tax computations, coordinating with tax consultants and authorities for assessments and audits. Additionally, you will manage statutory, tax, and internal audits, ensuring timely closure of audit queries and strengthening internal controls.
